We Are Artists And Advocates
Creating a sustainable musical future for experimental sound.

Mission
InfraSound designs experimental music experiences for people of all backgrounds, and we encourage individuals to engage with experimental music through outreach performances, education, and conversation. Our in-house ensemble is made up of artists, advocates, performers, and leaders, who prioritize accessibility and ally-ship in new music. In addition to the InfraSound Ensemble, we support new musical endeavors through curated concerts and collaborations, amplifying the works of individuals who are largely unheard, redefining the curation, promotion, and presentation of experimental music to create a more sustainable musical future.
Vision
Redefining the curation, promotion, and presentation of experimental music to create a sustainable musical future.
“Right now we do not make music unless we are in the same room together. Music is made ONLY between [PEOPLE] in ONE room, ONE field, or in ONE building between rooms through loudspeaker and microphone transmission....The music we make is confining us to ONE PLACE situations ALL THE TIME. Receptive to our own structure ONLY as we are making them....Long-distance music is developing occasions where boundaries of ONE PLACE situations can vanish, bringing spaces distant from each other together in time.”
Our Goals
Creating and reconnecting with our community (virtually and in-person)
Inviting and fostering artistic collaboration
Encouraging intersectionality amongst artists from all backgrounds
Educating all people to experimental music regardless of Race, Gender, Sexuality, Religion, Social Status, Age, or any other factor.
Creating low-pressure environments for broader community engagement
As human beings we do change, grow, adapt, perhaps even learn and become wiser.
